You would expect more competition to mean a lower price. For Genshin Impact Genesis Crystals in the Philippines, it did not. Five different sellers had a current quote on the smallest pack, 60 crystals, which is more than in Australia (three) or the United States (four). The cheapest of the five was still MooGold at $0.99, exactly what the smallest pack costs in those other two countries.
That sets up the theme of this piece. The Philippine seller list is unusual, but the prices you can actually get are not. What moves your total is the size of pack you choose and how carefully you pick between sellers on the larger packs.
Prices quoted for the Philippines
Seven sellers had current Genshin Impact Genesis Crystals prices for the Philippines when we checked. These six pack sizes could be compared like for like:
| Pack | Cheapest | Seller | Sellers quoting | Spread to dearest | |---|---|---|---|---| | 60 | $0.99 | MooGold | 5 | 20% | | 330 | $3.54 | Eldorado.gg | 3 | 67% | | 1,090 | $9.71 | Eldorado.gg | 3 | 81% | | 2,240 | $17.70 | Eldorado.gg | 3 | 98% | | 3,880 | $29.98 | Eldorado.gg | 3 | 95% | | 8,080 | $58.76 | Eldorado.gg | 3 | 99% |
None of these were quoted in pesos. All are US-dollar prices, so the peso amount you end up paying depends on your card or e-wallet's conversion.
A few sellers also list bonus-format packs written as "300+30" or "980+110". Those do not line up one-to-one with the tiers in this table, so they are left out of the comparison rather than squeezed into the wrong row.
MooGold is listed as an established reseller on MangoRecharge; Eldorado.gg is listed as a third-party seller. Eldorado.gg was cheapest on every pack from 330 crystals up.
Thinking in thousands of crystals
Banners are priced in hundreds and thousands of crystals, so it helps to see the cost of 1,000 crystals at each pack's cheapest rate:
| Pack | Cost per 1,000 crystals | |---|---| | 60 | $16.50 | | 330 | $10.73 | | 1,090 | $8.91 | | 2,240 | $7.90 | | 3,880 | $7.73 | | 8,080 | $7.27 |
The cost per 1,000 crystals falls from $16.50 to $7.27 across the ladder, about 56% lower at the top than at the bottom. Every step is downhill, so there is no pack in this table that is worse value than a smaller one.
The steepest part of the curve is right at the start. Moving from the 60 pack to the 330 pack cuts the rate by 35%. By contrast, going from 2,240 to 3,880 only saves 17 cents per 1,000 crystals, about 2%.
Here is one comparison worth remembering: even the dearest seller's 8,080 pack, at $117.08, works out to $14.49 per 1,000 crystals. That is still cheaper per crystal than the cheapest 60 pack anywhere in this table. Pack size outweighs seller choice when the gap between sizes is this large.
Buying 330 at a time
A common pattern is topping up with the 330 pack whenever a new character arrives. Six of those give you 1,980 crystals for 6 × $3.54 = $21.24. One 2,240 pack gives you 260 more crystals for $17.70. That is $3.54 saved and more crystals in hand, simply by buying once instead of six times.
If you only ever buy the 60 pack, the gap is wider still. Eighteen of them reach 1,080 crystals for $17.82, which is more than a 2,240 pack costs, for less than half the crystals.
Where the sellers disagree most
On the 60 pack, the five sellers sit within a narrow band: $0.99 to $1.19. On the large packs, the band blows open. The 2,240 pack ranged from $17.70 to $35.13, and the 8,080 pack from $58.76 to $117.08. That last gap is $58.32, enough to buy another 8,080 pack at the cheapest price with change left over.
The lesson for Philippine buyers: on small packs, any of the quoting sellers will cost about the same. On large packs, do not pick a seller by habit.
How the Philippines compares
The seller list is one of a kind. When we compared complete price lists across countries, the Philippines matched no other country exactly. It has more sellers than most.
The cheapest prices are not one of a kind. Line the comparison table up against the United States, Australia, Greece and Indonesia and every cheapest price is identical: $0.99, $3.54, $9.71, $17.70, $29.98 and $58.76. The extra Philippine sellers add choice, not discounts.
Egypt is the exception on one row. In Egypt the 60 pack was quoted at $0.74 by TopUp Easy, 25 cents below the Philippine floor. Above that, Egypt's cheapest prices match the Philippines too.
So there is no Philippines-only price for Genshin crystals. If you have seen advice to change your selected country to save money, the comparison does not support it.
What to buy
- Light spenders: the 330 pack at $3.54 is the first real improvement, 35% cheaper per crystal than the 60 pack.
- Regular spenders: the 2,240 pack at $17.70 captures most of the available saving; the 3,880 pack adds only a small extra discount.
- Big spenders: the 8,080 pack has the best rate, but also the widest seller gap, so check the cheapest quote before paying.
- Count the conversion. Your bank's peso rate and any foreign-transaction fee sit on top of the dollar price.
Before you buy
- Confirm the server and UID. Genshin accounts are tied to one server, so the top-up has to match the server you play on.
- Know whether you are buying a direct top-up or a code. A direct top-up uses your UID; a code is something you redeem yourself.
- Do not hand over your login. A UID is all a top-up should need.
- Look for a working support contact before you pay, and be wary of anything priced far below every other seller.
