Malaysia differs from the United States on exactly one Free Fire Diamonds pack, and the gap is three cents. LootBar quotes 100 Diamonds at $0.94, while the lowest American price is $0.97 from Enjoygm. On the other seven packs, the cheapest price is the same in both countries.
That is a small win, and we would not call it a Malaysian discount. It also disappears as soon as you buy more than a few Diamonds. So the useful question is not whether Malaysia is cheap. It is which seller and pack size keep you away from the expensive end of each price range.
Lowest price for each pack
Eight sellers quote these packs for Malaysia. Everything is shown in US dollars, and 22 of the 24 quotes we compared were already in dollars.
| Pack | Cheapest | Seller | Sellers quoting | Spread | |---|---|---|---|---| | 100 | $0.94 | LootBar | 3 | 40% | | 310 | $2.70 | Enjoygm | 3 | 36% | | 520 | $3.49 | Eldorado.gg | 3 | 32% | | 1,060 | $8.89 | Enjoygm | 3 | 46% | | 2,180 | $12.94 | Eldorado.gg | 5 | 41% | | 2,200 | $19.59 | GameSeal | 2 | 1% | | 5,600 | $32.00 | Eldorado.gg | 3 | 41% | | 11,500 | $62.90 | Eldorado.gg | 2 | 45% |
No single seller wins across the board. Eldorado.gg has four of the lowest prices, Enjoygm two, and LootBar and GameSeal one each. On MangoRecharge, LootBar and GameSeal are labelled established resellers. Eldorado.gg and Enjoygm are labelled third-party sellers. GameSeal's $19.59 was quoted as 18.14 EUR.
The 2,180 price deserves caution. At $12.94, Eldorado.gg's quote is a single listing far from the rest, 31% below its neighbouring packs on cost per Diamond. The dearest seller on that pack asks $18.20. Check it if you see it, but do not count on it.
What the dearest seller would cost you
The spread column is easier to feel in dollars. Here is the gap between the lowest and highest quote on each pack:
- 100 Diamonds: $0.38
- 310 Diamonds: $0.96
- 520 Diamonds: $1.11
- 1,060 Diamonds: $4.10
- 2,180 Diamonds: $5.26
- 2,200 Diamonds: $0.15
- 5,600 Diamonds: $13.00
- 11,500 Diamonds: $28.59
In percentage terms, 1,060 is the widest pack at 46%. In money, 11,500 is where a careless purchase hurts most, even with only two sellers quoting it.
Where cost per Diamond climbs
| Pack | Per 100 Diamonds | Against the pack before it | |---|---|---| | 100 | $0.940 | — | | 310 | $0.871 | -7.3% | | 520 | $0.671 | -22.9% | | 1,060 | $0.839 | +25.0% | | 2,180 | $0.594 | -29.2% | | 2,200 | $0.890 | +50.0% | | 5,600 | $0.571 | -35.8% | | 11,500 | $0.547 | -4.3% |
Overall, the largest pack costs 41.8% less per Diamond than the smallest. Two steps go the wrong way, though: 520 to 1,060, and 2,180 to 2,200. At both of those, the bigger pack costs more for each Diamond.
Stacking smaller packs gets around both. Two 520 packs total 1,040 Diamonds for $6.98, a good deal less than the $8.89 asked for 1,060. Four 520 packs total 2,080 Diamonds for $13.96, which is $5.63 below the $19.59 price for 2,200, though you end up 120 Diamonds short.
LootBar's lower price on the 100 pack does not make small purchases smart. Three of them cost $2.82 for 300 Diamonds. The 310 pack from Enjoygm is $2.70, so it gives you 10 more Diamonds for $0.12 less. Five 100 packs cost $4.70 for 500 Diamonds, against $3.49 for 520. Buy the 100 pack only if 100 Diamonds is all you want.
Each sum above takes the lowest quote on each pack, whichever seller it comes from. Confirm that the seller serves your account region before relying on it.
Malaysia beside its neighbours
Singapore is the closest match. Across all eight packs, the cheapest price and the seller offering it are the same as in Malaysia, including LootBar's $0.94. The two lists part ways only in the number of sellers and the top prices. Singapore has one more seller quoting on 2,180, 5,600 and 11,500, and its highest quotes on those packs are $18.49, $45.87 and $96.19, against $18.20, $45.00 and $91.49 in Malaysia.
Indonesia is where a real gap shows up. Panglima Topup quotes 100 Diamonds at $0.73 there, which is $0.21 under LootBar's price here. On the 1,060 pack, Indonesia has no quote, while Malaysia has $8.89 from Enjoygm. The other six packs have the same lowest price. A low price on an Indonesian list may belong only to that market, so treat it as a comparison point and not an option you can count on.
Against the United States, the three-cent gap on the 100 pack is the whole story for lowest prices. The top prices are close as well: $4.60 here against $4.52 on the 520 pack, and $45.00 against $44.42 on the 5,600 pack.
Quick checks at the seller's page
- Does this listing serve your account's region? Being shown under Malaysia here is not a guarantee, so read the seller's own product page.
- Is the Diamond amount the one you meant? The 2,180 and 2,200 packs are easy to confuse, and they are priced very differently.
- What is the final amount in your own currency? Compare that figure, not the headline price.
- Is anyone asking for your account password? Never share it. Walk away from any seller who wants it.
- What label does MangoRecharge give this seller? Decide whether you are happy buying from a third-party seller or would rather pay a little more for an established reseller.
Picking a pack in Malaysia
For a very small top-up, LootBar's $0.94 is the lowest price on the list, and it comes from an established reseller. Above that, skip to 310 at $2.70 or 520 at $3.49, and buy two 520 packs before you consider 1,060. For a large purchase, 5,600 at $32.00 and 11,500 at $62.90 give the lowest steady cost per Diamond. The 11,500 pack is the best value of all at $0.547 per 100, with two sellers to choose between.
