Here is the short version for German players: there is no Germany-only price for Zenless Zone Zero Monochrome. When we checked, every quote on the German list was in US dollars — not one seller quoted in euros — and the cheapest price for every pack matched what we saw for Norway, France and the Netherlands.
That sounds like bad news, but it simplifies things. If the country does not change the price, then the two things you actually control — which pack size you buy and which seller you buy it from — are the whole game. And in Germany, pack size is a big lever.
The German price list
Seven sellers had current Monochrome prices for Germany at the time of writing. Six standard pack sizes had comparable quotes:
| Pack | Cheapest | Seller | Sellers quoting | Spread to dearest | |---|---|---|---|---| | 60 Monochrome | $0.94 | Eldorado.gg | 4 | 29% | | 330 Monochrome | $4.49 | Eldorado.gg | 3 | 16% | | 1,090 Monochrome | $13.29 | Eldorado.gg | 3 | 21% | | 2,240 Monochrome | $24.59 | Eldorado.gg | 3 | 25% | | 3,880 Monochrome | $38.89 | Eldorado.gg | 3 | 34% | | 8,080 Monochrome | $70.86 | Eldorado.gg | 3 | 45% |
Eldorado.gg, listed as a third-party seller on MangoRecharge, was the cheapest on every single pack. That is unusual; on most games the cheapest seller changes as you move up the ladder. Bonus bundles written as a base plus extra (such as "980 + 110") were excluded so that each row compares an identical pack.
Because the quotes are in dollars, what you actually pay in euros depends on your card or payment provider's exchange rate and any fee it adds. That part is between you and your bank, and it is the same whichever seller you choose.
Per-Monochrome cost: the 44% lever
Convert each pack to a cost per 100 Monochrome:
| Pack | Cost per 100 Monochrome | |---|---| | 60 | $1.567 | | 330 | $1.361 | | 1,090 | $1.219 | | 2,240 | $1.098 | | 3,880 | $1.002 | | 8,080 | $0.877 |
The curve only goes one way. Each step up is cheaper per unit than the one below it, and from the 60 pack to the 8,080 pack the cost per Monochrome falls by 44.0%. No tier on the German list gets worse value as it gets bigger.
The biggest single step is the first one: moving from 60 to 330 cuts the per-unit cost by about 13%. After that, each step saves roughly another 9–13% per unit.
What topping up in small amounts really costs
The difference compounds fast. Eighteen 60 packs add up to 1,080 Monochrome and would cost $16.92. One 1,090 pack costs $13.29. That is an approximate comparison — 1,080 against 1,090 — but the direction is not in doubt: the single pack gives you 10 more Monochrome for $3.63 less.
The same holds higher up, where the comparison is exact:
- Two 1,090 packs: 2,180 Monochrome for $26.58. One 2,240 pack: 2,240 for $24.59.
- Two 3,880 packs: 7,760 Monochrome for $77.78. One 8,080 pack: 8,080 for $70.86.
If you know you will spend a certain amount over the next few weeks anyway, one larger purchase is cheaper than several small ones.
Seller choice matters most at the top
The gap between cheapest and dearest seller on the same pack grows as the packs get bigger. On 330 Monochrome it was 16%. On 8,080 it was 45% — $70.86 against $102.47, or $31.61 for exactly the same Monochrome. On the 60 pack the dearest quote was $1.21, 29% above the cheapest.
In other words, for a small top-up the seller barely matters in absolute money. For the largest pack, picking the wrong seller costs more than a whole 2,240 pack's worth of savings from buying in bulk.
Germany next to other countries
This is where the "no euro deal" finding comes from:
- Norway: the cheapest price on every pack, and the number of sellers quoting each pack, matched Germany exactly. Norway simply had one fewer seller listed overall.
- France, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland and Brazil: the full price list was identical, seller for seller and cent for cent, to Germany's, alongside Saudi Arabia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore and Mexico.
- The UK, Italy, Japan and Australia: different seller mixes, but the same cheapest price on every pack.
- The United States: the one place with a cheaper small pack — 60 Monochrome at $0.77 from XPTopup, about 18% under Germany's $0.94. From 330 Monochrome upward, the US and German cheapest prices were the same.
So a German player who sees "cheaper Monochrome in another country" is almost certainly looking at the small pack, and a difference of 17 cents. Larger packs carry no regional advantage in our comparison.
Practical picks for German players
- Avoid repeated 60 packs. At $1.567 per 100 it is the worst rate on the list.
- 2,240 is the sensible middle. It brings the rate down to $1.098 per 100 without committing to the largest outlay.
- 8,080 is the best rate at $0.877 per 100 — just compare sellers carefully, since that is where the spread is widest.
Before you buy
- Check the server. Zenless Zone Zero accounts belong to a regional server. Make sure the listing covers the one your account plays on.
- Know the delivery method. Direct top-up by UID and redeemable codes are different products; read which one the listing sells.
- Keep your login to yourself. A top-up needs your UID, never your password.
- Look at the live list. Use the compare Zenless Zone Zero prices page to see which sellers are cheapest right now.
