Most Genshin Impact Genesis Crystals price lists we compared look the same from one country to the next. Egypt's does not, and the difference sits in one specific place: the smallest pack. At the time of writing, TopUp Easy quoted 60 crystals for Egypt at $0.74. In the United States, Australia and the Philippines, nobody went below $0.99 for the same pack.
That is a 25-cent difference, or roughly 25% off. It is real, it is specific to Egypt's table, and it disappears completely the moment you look at any larger pack.
The full Egyptian table
Six sellers had current prices for Egypt. These are the cheapest quotes for each pack size:
| Pack | Cheapest | Seller | Sellers quoting | Spread to dearest | |---|---|---|---|---| | 60 | $0.74 | TopUp Easy | 4 | 61% | | 330 | $3.54 | Eldorado.gg | 4 | 67% | | 1,090 | $9.71 | Eldorado.gg | 4 | 81% | | 2,240 | $17.70 | Eldorado.gg | 4 | 98% | | 3,880 | $29.98 | Eldorado.gg | 4 | 95% | | 8,080 | $58.76 | Eldorado.gg | 4 | 99% |
Prices are in US dollars; none of the Egyptian quotes were in Egyptian pounds. TopUp Easy and Eldorado.gg are both listed as third-party sellers on MangoRecharge.
Two details set this table apart. First, four sellers quoted every single pack size, whereas Australia and the United States had three sellers on most sizes. Second, the 60-pack spread of 61% is not because one seller is unusually expensive. The dearest quote on that pack is $1.19, the same ceiling found elsewhere. The spread is wide because the floor dropped to $0.74.
A flatter value curve
A cheaper small pack changes the shape of the value curve. Here is the cost of 100 crystals at each size in Egypt:
| Pack | Cost per 100 crystals | |---|---| | 60 | $1.233 | | 330 | $1.073 | | 1,090 | $0.891 | | 2,240 | $0.790 | | 3,880 | $0.773 | | 8,080 | $0.727 |
From 60 to 8,080, the cost per 100 crystals falls by about 41%. In countries where the 60 pack costs $0.99, the same calculation gives a drop of about 56%. Put differently, Egyptian buyers are penalised less for buying small.
The biggest effect is at the first step. Going from 60 to 330 crystals saves only about 13% per crystal in Egypt, compared with 35% where the small pack is $0.99. The 330 pack is still the better rate, but the case for jumping straight to it is weaker here than in most countries.
There is no tier on this ladder where the cost per crystal rises. One step is notably soft, though: moving from 2,240 to 3,880 crystals improves the rate by only about 2%.
Does the cheap small pack change what you should buy?
Less than you might hope. Take the common habit of buying the smallest pack again and again:
- Eighteen 60 packs in Egypt reach 1,080 crystals for 18 × $0.74 = $13.32.
- One 1,090 pack is $9.71 for ten more crystals.
So stacking small packs still costs about 37% more than buying the 1,090 pack once. At the $0.99 price seen in other countries, the same eighteen packs would cost $17.82, about 84% more than the 1,090 pack. Egypt's discount narrows the gap; it does not close it.
Where the $0.74 pack genuinely helps is the buyer who only ever needs a small top-up, for example a few crystals short of a pull. For that case, Egypt has the lowest small-pack price of any table compared here.
Same crystals, double the price
On the large packs, Egypt shares the same wide seller gaps as everywhere else. The 2,240 pack ranged from $17.70 to $35.13, and the 8,080 pack from $58.76 to $117.08. On that biggest pack, the dearest quote is $58.32 more for an identical amount of crystals.
That is the largest same-pack gap in Egypt's table, and it dwarfs the 25-cent advantage on the starter pack. If you are buying in volume, seller choice on the big pack matters far more than which country's list you are looking at.
Egypt next to other countries
Shared with South Africa. When we compared full price lists, Egypt's matched South Africa's exactly and no other country's.
Matching everywhere above 60 crystals. From 330 crystals upward, Egypt's cheapest prices are identical to those in the United States, Australia, the Philippines and Thailand: $3.54, $9.71, $17.70, $29.98 and $58.76 where those packs are listed.
Thailand sits in between. Thailand's cheapest 60 pack was $0.92, from AONA Topup. That is 18 cents dearer than Egypt's but 7 cents cheaper than the $0.99 found in the United States.
So the honest summary is: Egypt has one country-specific price, on one pack. For everything else, there is no Egypt-only rate.
A buying plan for Egypt
- Need a handful of crystals? The 60 pack at $0.74 is the cheapest small top-up in any table we compared.
- Buying for a banner? Skip repeated small packs and go to 1,090 or 2,240 crystals. The 2,240 pack at $17.70 gets most of the available saving.
- Buying the largest pack? Check every seller's 8,080 price; the spread is close to double.
- Remember the conversion. These are dollar prices, so your bank's exchange rate to Egyptian pounds and any card fees add to what you pay.
Before you buy
- Check the server. Your UID belongs to one Genshin server; a top-up has to be for that server.
- Check the delivery type. Know whether the listing tops up your UID directly or sells a redeemable code.
- Keep your password to yourself. A UID top-up does not need your account login.
- Find the support contact first, and be cautious about any price far below every other seller.
